Material Controller FRC-East

As a Material Controller for Rolls-Royce, you’ll play an integral role as part of our on-site Customer MRO Operations Team. Based on-site, you’ll interface with our customer and MRO Ops Team daily to ensure all the operation’s material needs are fulfilled, continually improving processes along the way.

Key Accountabilities:
Initially, support the Rolls-Royce MRO Standup Team to stand up new operations at FRC-East
Working with DLA, FRC-E to understand material needs
Helping to facilitate local parts movements on the shop floor, including kitting as required
Monitoring and coordinating parts/modules between the MRO Ops and DLA Warehouse
Providing support and leadership on other MRO projects, as needed
Communicating, coordinating, tracking critical/shortage parts to FRC-E and the MRO Ops Team.
Basic Requirements:
A Bachelor`s degree and 2+ years of experience in the aviation/MRO industry OR;
A Masters degree and 0+ years of experience in the aviation/MRO industry OR;
A JD/PhD with 0+ years of experience in the aviation/MRO industry OR;
In lieu of a degree 6+ years of experience the aviation/MRO industry
Prior experience in fulfilling parts orders and/or managing engine/aerospace material.
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship
Preferred Requirements:
SAP Experience with material/parts transactions
Experience in MRO and/or working with Military MRO Operations
A Bachelor’s degree
Prior experience working in or directly with Rolls-Royce
Experience in turbine engine overhaul, testing and troubleshooting
Experience with the LiftsystemTM Products
