Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is a critical role within the expanding parts business of JSSI. This individual will support the quote and order flow from JSSI Parts & Leasing’s (JPL’s) online ordering portal, as well as the relationship driven orders from the sales force. The customer service representative will ensure orders are captured accurately and precisely in the system. They will own the post-agreement aspects of orders including purchase and sales order completion and logistics. In addition, they will laisse with JSSI marketing to execute on customer-driven marketing strategies.

Position Responsibilities- Create active follow-up communication with customers to ensure successful order conversion.
- Work with Product Line Representatives (PLRs) and salespeople to enter sales order and purchase order information into Component Control Quantum, JPL’s inventory system, including invoicing.
- Assist with marketing communication.
- Manage the complete supply chain process in supporting material requirements for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Learn JSSI’s existing hourly costs maintenance offerings across various products.
- Work closely with the JPL procurement and sales teams.
- Create relationships with suppliers, repair vendors and customers.
- Effectively present JPL to prospective customers and suppliers.
- Settle discrepancies with customer orders in a professional and timely manner.
- Call on regular and prospective customers and vendors to solicit new business.
- Analyze customer accounts and assist PLRs and sales teams to target follow up communication and identify additional sales opportunity.
- Identify market trends and anticipate areas of opportunity.
- Manage inventory movement in and out of the system.
- Attend domestic and international trade shows, conferences and seminars.
- Support AOG material requirements.
Desired Credentials- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of three years in procurement or sales.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of aircraft components is a plus.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships and communicate effectively via email and telephone.
- Ability to function independently.
- Highly organized and able to thrive in fast-paced environment
