The role
You’ll be responsible for ensuring effective control of the SAP security solution across various SAP systems within MAG. Flexibility will be key as every day is different. You’ll ensure all applications are supported and help drive improvements to the underlying platform and framework. You’ll respond to incidents, problems and requests utilising Service Now, in a timely and accurate manner ensuring Service Level Agreements are met. You’ll be a key resource on both internal and external audits, as well as assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting checks to evidence compliance. You will help to develop and maintain security documentation, such as security policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards. You’ll build relationships with core users, liaise with third parties, and ensure high levels of end user satisfaction for the products and solutions supported. You’ll verify the priority and severity of support requests and help with queries around the configuration and customisation within your area of expertise. You’ll conduct root cause analysis and accurately document issues and resolutions, whilst working to reduce repeat incidents by implementing changes to the systems or processes promoting continuous improvement. SAP Security sits within the Cyber Security Team and there are times when you will need to contribute your skills to supporting others in the team, including general Cyber awareness, comms and training.
What will make you successful in the role?
You’ll have previous experience of SAP security and role development. You will have knowledge of SAP authorisation design, user administration and SOD conflict resolution, as well as a comprehensive understanding of GRC Rulesets and functions within SAP GRC 12.0. As well as experience of at least one full SAP system life cycle, you’ll have experience of Ariba, Concur and Success Factors security concepts. You’ll have strong documentation, reporting, problem-solving and organisation skills. You’ll also have excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
