This role will be accountable for project control and delivery of a defined package of work within scope, cost, and schedule.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
What you will be doing:
With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to be involved with the following:
- Proactive risk management and mitigation
- Develop and own the project cost model. Track actuals vs baseline and feed into AP reporting cycle
- Authoring, baselining and updating L3 P6 project plans with support from stakeholders. Proactive drive project progress using delivery plans
- Clear visibility of known issues, early escalation and recommendation where required
- Manage change at both project and programme level
- Reporting Programme/Cost & risk to customers, supporting CAM reviews and MPR
- Own & lead project level reviews to drive the project forward and unblock issues

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Experience of Project management and planning and control activities and ideally, project management qualification e.g. APM.
- Knowledge/experience of SAP, Coupa and Primavera P6 is desirable.
- Strong planning and organisational skills to manage short, medium- and long-term activities and deliverables
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the business.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
