Responsibilities
- Help with managing inventory and movement of materials.
- Assist with preparation of necessary shipping documentation.
- Assist with received materials to ensure they match purchase orders.
- Assist with flow of materials and products in areas according to established guidelines.
- Maintain production and delivery schedules.
- Assist with responding to basic customer or shipper questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services.
- Track and trace goods while they are on route to their destination.
- Provide logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.
- Plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving, or the warehouse, to repair.
- Manage material inventory and import/export controls.
- Attach identifying tags, markings, and labeling to material, property, handling, staging, storage and shipment containers or receptacles.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise resource planning systems, specifically SAP.
- Experience operating Warehouse Material handling equipment (pallet jacks, fork lift etc.)
- Experience in a compliance-driven environment
- Experience using hand and power tools
