Johnson Service Group (JSG), a professional recruiting firm is seeking a Sales Lead with in-depth knowledge of commercial construction sales to support our global client. While this is a remote role, the position sits in Raleigh, NC or Houston, TX and relocation assistance is available depending on the preferred city and state.
Summary: Seeking a seasoned sales professional to serve as a Sales/Contractor Lead for non-residential construction sales. Primarily responsible for building and expanding strategic relationships with non-residential construction contractors. Focused on achieving sales targets, pipeline management, relationship management and strategic account planning.
Responsibilities:
- Management: Lead a team in the development of sales strategies for accounts. Performance management to deliver results in a safe and compliant manner.
- Sales Targets: Define and propose sales targets and growth margins for the Non-Residential Construction team and ensure their achievement with a structured follow-up process.
- Account Plan/Account Management: Lead the development and implementation of account plans by assigned account managers to include designing the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans, prioritizing the opportunities, identifying a target for each solution element.
- Customer Relations: Working with Account Managers, establish and develop account relationships based on a defined strategy.
- Market Activity: Monitor competitors’ activity within the Non-Residential Construction market and ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.
Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 7 years’ experience in technical sales, engineering, project management or marketing.
- Experience working with clients in the Non-Residential Construction Market.
- Experience managing personnel is preferred.
- Channels to market knowledge
- Understanding of bid processes within the commercial construction market.
- 50% travel expectations throughout the Central U.S.
