Summary:
Skilled Channel Sales Manager who is responsible for the management of Thales distributors and resellers which handle high confidential data and private data.
Primary responsibility is to expand Thales’s data security solution portfolio (Encryption, Key Management, and other related solutions) with the existing partners, and the newly cultivated partners.
Expected to deliver consistent revenue performance and growth according to assigned quarterly sales quota with Partners.
Qualification Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Experience:
Experience in closely working with Distributors or Resellers as channel sales.
Experience in foreign information technology company
Experience in the data or network security industries.
Experience in closely working with/ in major System Integrators (NEC, Hitachi, Fujitsu, NRI, NTT Data, LAC) is preferable.
Experience in closely working with/ in major Distributors (Softbank C&S, NETWORLD) is preferable.
Experience in closely working with/ in major Consulting firms (Accenture, Deloitte, PwC,) is preferable.
Experience in working at the competitors, Entrust, Utimaco, HashiCorp, Fortanix etc. is preferable.
Skills:
Native Japanese language and business level English language capability
SFDC pipeline management and deal closing skill to meet the assigned quarterly sales quota with Partners.
Relationship management for senior management level as a trusted partner sales.
Strong communication/ presentation skills with the ability to engage with all levels (working level to senior management level) .
Understanding of decision-making process, operational model, overall business strategies, commercial flows etc. for the targeted partners.
Open doors and develop relationship with new partners by taking advantage of the created lead by marketing event or tool.
Ability to find and approach the end customers with partners.
Strong business planning skills and proven ability to execute and deliver on a defined plan,
Ability to thrive under pressure and to perform job functions independently with limited supervision.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Build executive level Thales value proposition for target partners.
Build a business plan and conduct the quarterly business review with the partners and gain Executive commitment to move forward.
Build a business plan and quarterly reviews with Thales sales executive management.
Deliver consistent revenue performance and growth according to assigned quarterly sales quota with Partners.
