Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a
Manager, Material Requirements Planning (M1) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is onsite and will report to the M2 Manager within Global Supply Chain Advanced Weapons Business Unit, located in
Northridge, CA.
Responsibilities
Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Collaboration and coordination with key stakeholders to include, but not limited to, Contracts, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Program Management, Quality, Shipping & Receiving, Stockroom
- Ensures materials are available to meet schedules for production programs
- Manages the material planning processes to improve upon operational efficiency
- Utilizes the MRP system for material planning from purchasing, processing, warehousing, and production
- Proactively leads a team of 7+ individuals
- Accountable for the development, engagement, and performance of the team
- Responsible for daily operations (assignment of work, daily workflow, direct staff supervision, operating costs, schedules)
- Troubleshoots complex process and system issues related to material planning
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of supply chain management or material planning experience, or 6+ years with a Bachelor's Degree, or 4 years with a Master's Degree
- Experience in developing and delivering training
- In-depth understanding of Material Requirements Planning
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance as needed for the business
- Ability to work an amazing work schedule (4/10 Shift schedule: Monday-Thursday)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree
- Experience in company policies and procedures
- Proficient in Deltek Costpoint
- Current Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and/or Special Program Access

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site in Northridge, CA. No remote/telework arrangement is available for this position.
