Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is targeting a Field Service Engineer for our industrial power generation client local to Greensburg, PA (Remote with high travel). The incumbent will be responsible for the construction, service, maintenance, commissioning, and repair of high voltage substation equipment.

- Serve as the customer point of contact for on-site and remote assistance, providing hands on delivery of installations, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, overhauls, and consulting of high voltage substation equipment. Additionally, end of life service and replacements.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, proactively offset, and prevent future issues, while coordinating logistics for spare parts and service needs.
- Identify sales opportunities, communicating and collaborating with customers, end users and sales teams to suggest products and process improvements.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, provide hands on experience in substation construction, servicing, maintenance, commissioning and repair of high voltage equipment and power systems. Manage onsite testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or trade education with 5-7 years of technical and hands on experience.
- Ability to travel 85% both domestically and internationally.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work in the United States.
