Collins Aerospace - Advanced Structures (“AS”), seeks a visionary Director of Supply Chain Shared Services to lead and inspire a team of professionals in optimizing the Advanced Structures Supply Chain. This pivotal role involves establishing the AS Supply Chain Center of Excellence, implementing best practices, and spearheading strategic initiatives across multiple teams. Responsibilities include developing supply chain digital strategies, managing indirect spend and savings, managing cost management, ensuring compliance, and fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across Advanced Structures, Collins and RTX. As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive transformative projects, enhance operational efficiency, and champion continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic acumen, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic business environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- The focus of this role is to lead a transformative group that partners and collaborates cross functional activities within Advanced Structures Supply Chain business units, Advanced Structures Operations & sites, central organizations, and various RTX/Collins Governance Councils.
- Lead the functions of Supply Chain Analytics, Business Process Management, Supply Chain Compliance, Non-Product Supply Chain & Cost Management for Advanced Structures Supply Chain organization, a $7B+ revenue / $3.3B+ spend (Product & Indirect) SBU.
- Spearhead the transformation of the Advanced Structures Supply Chain business processes, pioneering innovative approaches and leading-edge methodologies.
- Drive strategic initiatives to consolidate suppliers and optimize non-product spend, delivering substantial cost reductions and enhanced efficiency.
- Harness the power of data analytics and digital tools to revolutionize procurement activities, enabling agile decision-making and proactive risk management.
- Construct cost management activities and data analytics supporting procurement activities regarding supplier management, savings / headwinds initiatives and providing detailed reporting utilized for business decisions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and global partners to align supply chain objectives and drive seamless cross-functional integration.
- Interact with several Supply Chain Executive Leadership Teams, SIOP, Operations Leadership Team, and Global Business Partners, providing critical insights into supplier performance, digital transformation, and financial impacts.
- Lead by example in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, championing bold initiatives to elevate process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as a strategic ambassador in One RTX sourcing activities, advocating for Advanced Structures interests, and maximizing cross-divisional synergies.
- Establish robust compliance and governance frameworks, forging strategic alliances to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and mitigate potential risks.
- Mentor and develop talent within the team, providing opportunities for growth and empowerment to drive individual and collective success.
- Drive accountability and transparency through comprehensive reporting and metrics, enabling informed decision-making and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate with business units and across Collins to identify and implement best practices.
Qualifications/ Experience Needed:
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 18 years of relevant experience

The salary range for this role is 171,000 USD - 343,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
