Job Purpose
It must solve incidents that arise, taking the appropriate decisions to minimize the impact they may have on the quality and safety of the operation, always trying to optimize resources and protect the client as much as possible.
Main Accountabilities
- The main function of the Duty Manager is to manage daily operations.
- The Duty Manager must monitor the evolution of flights, ensure safety and operational punctuality.
- Operational Control
- Follow up and control of the fleet status
- Follow up and control of the weather
- Notification of changes and updates of the daily programme
- Notificatoin of the operational inspections done by the authorities
- Disruptions managment
- Flight Watch and Flight Dispatch support

Main Responsibilities - Tasks
- Verify safety and punctuality of Vueling´s aircrafts, in 8h shifts.
- Establish all the necessary measures to guarantee a safety and punctual operation according to the OM.
- Ensure ATC optimum slots. Support, in a proactive way, the flights through the setting of meteorological monitoring system, NOTAM and ATS and keep it updated to minimize potential interruptions.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Monitoring Center staff and other departments and organizations, accordingly, to minimize the aircraft availability and servicing.
- Notify all flight network stations and service providers, any interruption or delay in the operative, and initiate any required actions.
- Coordinate with other stations in order to perform operations within punctual margins and inform them about delays, equipment changes, diversions, cancellation, etc.
