Assistant Manager, Cargo System
Reports To
Lead ITBP, MABKargo
Role Purpose
- Manage, analyse and deliver identified IT projects and strategic initiatives, manage and perform analysis and solution design review, manage daily functional operations of applications, manage and implement continuous improvement initiatives of systems for MAB Kargo and MLSB.
- Responsible to manage and control systems associated infrastructure to support business operations for delivering efficient end-to-end MAB Kargo services.
- Providing business advisory support for business unit on Information Technology prospective.
- Supervise sub-ordinates in supporting and analyze applications to meet new business requirements.
Key Accountability
- Demand Management: Handling customers complaints and provide technical support to the team within the organization and to BU. Assisting with systems integration. Recommend and manage continuous improvement opportunities to drive process/system excellence and review feasibility of the solution proposed by 3rd party vendors to ensure that it will satisfy MAB Kargo and MLSB requirement/system change request/enhancement at the least cost.
- Project Management: Coordinate sourcing, evaluate solution proposals, manage implementation, lead testing, and perform quality review for all MAB Kargo & MLSB projects & initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and manage relationships with stakeholders / users, actively managing stakeholder expectation to deliver IT solutions/ services to Business, provide advice and support the execution of approved demand request to ensure sustainability of finance systems and end to end processes.
- Operational: Manage and control applications technical and functionality configuration for optimal business utilization in accordance to the applicable corporate governance, IT Policy and related authority's / regulatory requirements especially. Oversees the progress of business process continuous improvement initiatives (Technology component) in collaboration with the business unit and the relevant IT vendors to ensure sustainable systems and operations environments. Monitor and manage all issues escalation in relation to the application's operations and related Service Level Agreement to support the day-to-day operational requirements by liaising with the business units and IT service providers.
- Change management: Coordinate and execute Change Management action plans, conduct training need analysis and liaise with Business Units to identify and agree on their specific training requirements, develop and deliver training to business users to improve knowledge, work, competencies and productivity for MAB Kargo & MLSB.
Qualifications & Working Experience
Degree in Information Technology, Business Information or any related Discipline in any field of study with 2 years of working experience in Information Technology.
