Position Summary
Reporting to the Managing Director, Airport Operations Planning. Lead a team of analysts in collecting, organizing, and interpreting complex data sets. Oversee the development and execution of analytics strategies that align with business objectives. Manage and develop operational and financial metrics & KPIs, set targets, identify trends, look for potential issues and opportunities, and plan future operational and financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of analysts in collecting, organizing, and interpreting complex data sets.
- Lead, coach, and manage others.
- Oversee the development and execution of analytics strategies that align with business objectives.
- Manage and develop operational and financial metrics & KPIs, set targets, identify trends, look for potential issues and opportunities, and plan future operational and financial activities.
- Manage multiple resources and projects concurrently to ensure successful completion of analytic projects.
- Oversee annual Airport Operations budget process and communication/distribution of monthly revenue and expense metrics to all stations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving the guest experience, increasing manpower productivity, and/or reducing costs.
- Create and present reports and visualizations that communicate data insights to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate division communications initiatives with Corporate Communications.
- Align division communications with corporate messaging.
- Develop and oversee implementation of communications strategy in conjunction with the Corporate Communications team.
- Manage division meetings, including General Manager meetings, town halls, and other forums.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Five (5) years of experience in managing teams and/or direct reports.
- Experience with data analysis and/or communications work.
- Highly organized, detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization, from the ramp to the board room.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Hawaiian Airlines is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT - regulation, 49 CFR part 40) and all applicants are advised that post-offer and/or pre-employment drug testing will be conducted to determine the presence of Marijuana, Cocaine, Opioids, PCP (Phencyclidine), and Amphetamine prior to any offer of employment or transfer into a safety-sensitive position. Please note that the provided salary information serves as a general guideline. Our salary is determined by a candidate's experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. The expected pay range is $120,000 - $147,000.
