In order to support the In-Service Engineering department, Airbus is looking for a
Structural repair fatigue specialist (d/f/m)
The department this position is in deals with all structural components on damaged in-service aircrafts, all ATA57 High Lift structural components for all commercial Airbus programs.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Analysis of damage reports for the entire airbus fleet (ATA57)
Production of Stress and Deformation analyses (Metal & Composites Structure (determination of Reserve Factor)
Execution of finite element calculation, finite element update and production of load updates on allowable loads
Stress analysis to show continued airworthiness following repair and the production of respectively stress reports
Approval of repair documents (inclusive Repair Technical Design Sheets, Static Strength & Fatigue Approval Sheets)
Handling and approval of AOG (aircraft on ground) damage or repairs (day and night 24/7 AOG on-call with activation in the domestic environment)
Definition of aircraft inspection programs based on the damage report
Definition of non-commercial flight conditions for damaged aircraft
Desired skills and qualifications
University Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
Experience in the area of structural fatigue analysis is required
Experience in the area “Continued Airworthiness” would be beneficial
Willingness to regularly participate in 24/7 AOG stand-by on-call service
Fluent English language skills is a must
German language skills would be a plus
