What the role entails:
- Communicates with airline customers across Canada, on a daily basis, regarding changes to in-flight food/stocking orders from within a central meal ordering department that services Canada.
- To maintain sales orders for the company, by entering orders and to perform general administrative functions within the Order Control Dept.
- Employees must act courteously as the liaison between our airline customers and the company. Communicate effectively at all levels within the organization to ensure that our airline customer requirements are met within the strict time frames.

What were looking for:
Education:
- High school diploma/College Diploma
Work Experience:
- Previous experience working in Customer Service is required
- Strong English communication skills
- Previous experience writing communications in English to customers
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Previous SAP experience is desirable
Job Skills:
- Ability to work independently with information systems as well interact with customers and operational personnel.
- Extensive knowledge of order entry responsibilities.
- Excellent problem solving, prioritizing and organizational abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple assignments and ensure that jobs are prioritized in an orderly fashion.
- Effective English language written and verbal communication skills (fluency in French an asset)
- Superior interpersonal and team building skills.
- Advanced computer skills, data entry and detail oriented.
- Continuous improvement culture.
Communication Skills:
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for entering and maintaining customer orders in ERP system.
- Communicate with operations across Canada on changes to airline orders.
- Perform order checks to ensure that they meet airline customer requirements.
- Maintain filling system in accordance with department requirements.
- Communicate with airline customers on a daily basis (either by phone, fax or e-mail) regarding inquiries, orders, information or follow-ups.
Environmental Requirements:
- This role is part of a 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week operation which will require shift work.
- Rotating shifts are employed which will require agents to work morning, afternoon or evening shifts depending on rotation schedule.
- This will require individuals to work over weekends and potentially statutory holidays.
- On-time attendance is a key part of this role and will weigh heavily into performance assessment.
