Job Objectives
The HO International Growth APAC reports to the HO Region Asia Pacific. The HO International Growth APAC manages Airbus’ international activities and footprint in the Asia Pacific Region. He/she represents HO Region, Asia Pacific when required towards key regional stakeholders.
He/ she is also responsible for:
International Cooperation & Offset, Public Affairs
Lead, develop, and implement all international cooperation, industrial partnerships, offsets activities, sustainability regional roadmap, SAF initiatives and CSR for both existing and new partnership opportunities, to reinforce the presence and achieve the 3 businesses’ objectives in Asia-Pacific. Lead and develop regional and country business development strategies by coordinating ACRs in alignment with Airbus’ global strategy.
Drive strategic relationships with national-level governments by leading and supporting main government dialogues and initiatives, to advance Airbus’ market positioning and grow business operations, while ensuring oneVoice access for government and key stakeholders, for the 3 businesses in Asia-Pacific.
Primary responsibilities
International Cooperation & Offset
Lead and develop Country and Regional strategies and corresponding implementation plans with the respective ACRs (Airbus Country) and business leads,
Lead and manage all international cooperation, industrial partnerships & offsets activities for Asia-Pacific in coordination with stakeholders centrally
Lead and develop growth initiatives roadmap to reinforce Airbus' partnerships/footprint, to contribute to new business opportunities across Airbus businesses
Coordinate the Sustainability Governance (global scope) within APAC and corresponding Road map cascading and implementation according to G organization’s directives.
Manage the following sustainability streams and reporting:
Scope 1 & 2 including High 5+
Community impact (CSR): regional coordination and reporting of CSR activities and scouting for environmental risks and opportunities (internal environmental footprint)
Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Ambassador network activities
Act as APAC SAF Ambassador
Deploy Advocacy and catalyst roles in Countries toward Authorities, partners and general public
Define and deploy APAC SAF Strategy and specific road map and support the establishment of SAF supply in Countries - through feasibility studies and regional network definition
Support SAF development activities in the region through our network of technical centers (Malaysia & Australia)
Participate to Customers campaigns and initiatives
Public Affairs
Support Head of Region, ACRs and Communications to influence key government stakeholders
Align APAC Regional team with Home countries guidelines and priorities (events, official visits)
Support Head of Region and ACRs to drive strategic relationships with national-level governments in Asia-Pacific, by leading and supporting government dialogues and initiatives, including with key stakeholders, regulators, industry associations, and alliance partners, to support business operations
Establish Public Affairs team in Asia-Pacific, and knowledge management & sharing; Develop advocacy plans & represent Airbus’ company position with governments including but not limited to 1) Economics & Financials (e.g. government incentives), 2) Regulatory, and 3) Public Policy, for the promotion of Airbus’ priorities and market positioning
Manage high-level meetings with Airbus global management and key government officials

Lead E&C Training and implementation of practices for direct teams in Public Affairs and International Cooperation & Offsets

Demonstrated ability and experience dealing with Key Public Officials
Significant experience in leading strategic projects in a International environment
Strong ability to structure and develop market analyses, with knowledge in financial modeling, and scenario analysis
Extensive market knowledge, business development and marketing experience in Asia-Pacific would be added advantage
Strong internal-Airbus network and across Airbus business lines for added value
Strong customer-facing experience, and negotiating investment deals / financial support
Entrepreneurial to convert new market opportunities into revenue and business growth
Extensive external cross-industry network to build pipeline of partners regionally and globally
Proven experience in leading cross-business lines and cross-functional teams
Excellent spoken and written communications skills, and proactive to present information at all levels with the ability to lead discussions and debates
