Skyports, established in 2017, is a leader in Advanced Aerial Mobility. We have 2 business units, an infrastructure business, and a drone services business.
In the infrastructure business, we are the leading owner and operator of vertiports to enable electric air taxi operations in several cities around the world.
The drone services business provides cargo drone delivery, surveillance, and inspection solutions for the medical, logistics and e-commerce sectors, flying for the likes of the National Health Service (NHS) and Royal Mail in the UK.

Role description
We have an exciting new opportunity for an ambitious, technically strong accountant to join our fast-growing international business.
This is a part-time role of 24 hours per week, with in-built flexibility that may suit returners and or those looking for a more flexible working environment. Whilst we highly value time together in our Kennington office we are open to a mixture of office and remote working and are happy to discuss work schedules during the interview process.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the production of consolidated monthly accounts from different systems internationally, including multiple subsidiaries and joint ventures.
- Liaise with international accountants to ensure their outputs are timely, robust and consistent with group accounting policies and compliant with relevant reporting requirements.
- Provide consistent, reliable and insightful management information to the wider business.
- Be responsible for quarterly VAT Returns and manage external accountants’ production of financial statements and corporation tax returns (including R&D) in the UK.
- Support the annual audit process.
- Ensure robust financial controls and efficient processes are maintained.
- Qualified chartered or certified accountant with at least 3 years PQE.
- A strong background in financial reporting and financial accounting, experience of working internationally preferred.
- Strong sense of ownership, confidence in own abilities and decisions.
