The role:
Infrastructure Business Analyst
As an Analyst within the Strategic Infrastructure team at IAG Cargo you will play a crucial role in setting the direction and delivering long-term changes, improvements and additions to our physical infrastructure at our key hubs at London Heathrow, Madrid and Dublin.
What you’ll do:
You will be responsible for capturing business requirements, investigating and assessing options to meet those requirements, using data to support decision-making. You will be responsible for analysing and designing solutions which enable us to grow our business, as well as enhancing our infrastructure and operational efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness of our facilities.
You will be required to engage at various levels within the organisation to capture business requirements and translate these into a coherent and deliverable Infrastructure strategy which will evolve and be maintained over time, in line with the wider Business Strategy and Plan.
You will develop and shape strategic plans, bringing strong skills in data modelling, critical thinking, problem-solving and logical reasoning.
The role is broad, requiring an ability to carry out analyses and justifications across a range of categories to support the overall infrastructure strategic vision.

Qualifications
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent qualification
Your experience:
Essential:
- Demonstratable experience of successfully performing a Business Analysis role in various settings
- Analysing complex issues, packaging findings and presenting effectively to stakeholders
- Proficiency in data analysis, modelling, forecasting and visualisation (An advanced level of Excel is essential; Power BI, Tableau etc not essential but desirable).
- Adept at producing compelling, engaging and persuasive reports of summarised analysis (typically PowerPoint)
- Experience of requirement documentation and process engineering
- Leading Business Case development and production of associated artefacts
Desirable:
- Experience working in the Logistics, Freight, Courier industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience in building infrastructure analysis, design, and optimisation
- Understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and automation technologies
- Working knowledge of Spanish
- Experience of major business change programmes
