Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Finance
- Assist CFO in Qatar in financial and performance data analysis, and division office financial reporting.
- Support the regional business planning, budgeting and forecasting process by developing tools and templates to facilitate data collection and analysis across the region. Compare financial projections to previous year actual performance and explain key variances.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and ad hoc financial reporting.
- Consolidate inputs from business units in budgeting and forecasting process.
- Evaluate new business opportunities (customer tenders) and capital expenditure requests.
- Support in formulating key performance indicators and monitoring.
- Develop and analyze financial and management reports to support market development strategies.
- Develop Financial models to support short term and long-term business planning.
- Work closely with unit managers for timely data reporting and follow ups.
- Coordinate with finance and accounting team in Singapore to meet group reporting calendar datelines.
- Support the implementation of internal control framework and conduct planned internal audit.
Human Resources
- Provide support for the day to day HR Operations in Qatar office.
- Guide managers and employees on all HR employment practices and policies.
- Create and update employee records and manage data and reports in the HRIS (Workday) on a timely basis.
- Manage employee onboarding and off-boarding.
- End-to-end recruitment and conduct interviews as required.
- Assist with compensation benchmarking and salary proposals for new hires or internal moves.
- Work with payroll vendor to ensure accuracy in monthly payroll processing.
- Act as a point of contact for all HR benefits and administration issues relating to the employees in the Regional Office.
- Facilitate annual Performance Appraisal process for Qatar team.
- Contribute to ad-hoc HR queries, reporting and projects as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Finance or Business-related (required).
Job Skills:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong in Financial Analysis.
- Experience in Payroll Processing.
- Good PC skills, experience with SAP, HFM a plus.
- Knowledge and work experience on Power BI or similar tools
- Familiar with Workday.
- Resourceful self-starter with great interpersonal skills.
Language / Communication Skills:
- English
