Job Summary

The Senior Manager - Reporting and Data Governance will lead and execute our Employee Data Governance activities. This role will establish an Employee Data Governance process and mature our existing processes around Employee Data Management. Additionally, they will support the build out and continued maintenance of Employee Data Reporting in our HR/Payroll applications. The Sr Mgr will also manage and lead the team that will oversee Employee Reporting and Data Management/Governance, providing guidance, mentorship and build a strategic plan for Employee reporting capabilities.

This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week. Responsibilities
- Lead the team that will oversee Employee Reporting and Data Management/Governance
- Partner with People Product Managers to evaluate upgrades and future application enhancements as needed per data privacy guidance and governance
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive data glossary, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories to ensure consistent data definitions and usage across the organization.
- Assist in developing data quality management framework - Monitor data quality metrics, identify issues, and coordinate remediation efforts to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Oversee development and delivery of data governance training and awareness programs to promote a data-driven culture within the organization.
- Implement best practices for management, manipulation and capture of data
- Collaborate with business, technology and cross-functions to develop understanding of data requirements, challenges and pain points
- Collaborate with data stewards and business units to identify and assign data ownership responsibilities, ensuring data is managed effectively and in alignment with business need

- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership and building strong teams, project management, negotiation, and coordination/planning of people and resources
- Skilled in written and verbal communication, including storytelling and adapting style in presentations based on audience size and makeup
- Skilled in creative and complex problem solving through identification of root cause, formulation of options, risk evaluation, and consideration of all internal and external factors
- Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating data, including turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
- Skilled in conceptual, analytical, and abstract thinking, as well as presenting complex relationships in an understandable way
- Ability to apply both strategy and project management principles (i.e., vision, risk management project planning, work breakdown structure, implementation planning)
- Skilled in leading effectively through direct Leadership as well as influencing others
- Skilled in collaborating with all levels of Leadership across the Company including PLD, Operations, Technology and Labor Unions
- Ability to succinctly communicate complex issues verbally, in writing and through presentations
- Ability to think strategically and understand the relationship between current actions and future consequences
- Ability to cast a vision, develop a plan and drive to implementation
- Ability to analyze complex issues, make sounds decisions and recognize when a "sense of urgency" is required.
- Experience/Education
- Required - High School Diploma or GED
Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading team(s)
Fully functioning, broad knowledge in:
·Operational processes, data, systems landscape
·Standing up a data governance practice
·Experience with one or more data governance tools
·Managing technology resources and projects
- Preferred: Employee Data Experience
- Preferred: Experience with Data Governance, Data Management, Workday, and HR Data

- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age

"Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $158,950 per year to $176,600 per
year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual
contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the
discretion of the company.
