Head of Sales

The position will report to Commercial Director.
Responsibilities and duties
- Further excel Norse Atlantic’s B2B sales growth strategy for Europe
- Manage a dynamic action plan for incremental growth through indirect sales
- Overall global responsible for B2B sales on our commercial schedule, including TO, TMC, VFR, Cruise companies and general seat allotments
- Challenge traditional trade norms and forge partnerships through technology
- Develop nimble relationships with Tour Operators and strategic partners
- Manage trade sales through seamless connections to enhance profitability
- Manage and negotiate contracts with external resellers
- Formulate business cases defining benefits and associated business risks
- Establish delivery plans and KPIs with main B2B trade partners
- Review, optimize and align business processes and functions to take advantage of new solutions and features
- Collaborate with Head of Sales UK, Head of Sales North America and the rest of the commercial team to develop best practice in sales excellence
We are looking for someone with
- Excellent sales management and negation skills
- Deep understanding of commercial strategies within Travel industry
- Understanding of B2B customer needs and sales support management
- Competence of global distribution systems and channel management
- Reservations and ticketing systems knowledge across travel industry
- Airline schedules, fares, pricing and inventory knowledge
- Strategic reflections about business processes and growth
- Love of travel and unwavering determination to make a mark in the industry
- High energy, positive, enthusiastic and a sense of humor
- Identify to our core values; be inclusive, take ownership, show kindness
Experience sought:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Min 5 years of progressive experience in sales and account management
- Proven strong results within sales performance
- Industry experience, preferably within global travel ecosystems.
- Proven good communication skills in English
