Norse is looking for a new Reliability and Maintenance program Engineer to join our team. As the fleet is increasing we want to focus more on reliability and the maintenance program.
The role we are trying to fill will mostly work with reliability, but you will also support on the maintenance program.
The Engineering team currently consists of eight very dedicated employees. We are split into Powerplant and Airframe. The AMP/Reliability Engineer works in the Airframe part of Engineering. We have split the responsibility on ATA chapter. But since we are such a small and dedicated team, there is a lot of collaboration. We are part of a bigger and great technical team with Maintenance Operations Control, planners and a range of technical staff. We have our own hangar at Oslo Airport and technicians performing the maintenance. So you will be able to observe the AC up close and see the effect of your work.
Responsibilities and Dutie
- Develop and improve the reliability program for Norse 787.
- Use software to analyse faults and trends.
- Work with the entire technical team to improve the reliability.
- Develop and improve on the maintenance program for Norse 787
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the reliability and maintenance program.
- Perform optimization of maintenance tasks. RCM and FMECA analysis.
- Ensure that the maintenance management system (MMS) is up to date.
- Perform reliability analysis for Norse 787
- Liaison with OEM (Boeing) on maintenance and reliability.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- BSc in aeronautics or mechanical engineering
- Experience from an MMS program is good.
- A dedicated team player
- A positive and challenge seeking personality.
- One able to also work independently and show initiative
- Experience from aviation is a positive.
- Newly educated are also encouraged to apply
