Job Description:
This job requires coordination and management of non-conformances that get generated out of receiving inspection. Working with multiple disciplines and working Non-Conformances to completion.
Essential Functions:
- Working inside TIPQA and Cost Point. Starting and Completing non-Conformances.
- Attentive to priorities, non-conformance writing, delegation to proper responsible disciplines or individuals.
- Maintaining organization and coordination of Non-Conformance transactions and timely closure or resolution.
- Exceptional computer skills. Familiarity and working knowledge of TIPQA, Cost Point, SAP or similar systems.
- Works cross functionally with other leaders and disciplines to manage transactions within TIPQA and Cost Point to ensure non-conforming materials are addressed and continue moving through the various transactions within the process.
- May work extended hours to ensure priorities and product continue to flow.
- Must proactively manage the NC log daily. Help manage paperwork delivered from suppliers and ensure paperwork is transacted and appropriate notifications are sent.
- Assist/make recommendations for resolving difficult transactional situations.
Qualifications:
- Requires broad industrious job knowledge. Bachelor’s Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- 2 years or more experience with demonstrated exceptional communication skills with multiple levels of the company.
- 2 years or more experience with organizational skills and the ability to manage communications from multiple sources throughout the day.
- 2 years or more working knowledge of Cost Point and TIPQA transactional processes or similar systems.
- 2 years or more experience with non-conforming products and transactions.
- Understand how to run queries within the systems.
- 2 years or more experience understanding metric output of the system.
- 2 years or more experience in helping problem solve and helping to keep nonconformance numbers to a minimum to meet company goals.
- Must be a United States Citizen.
Physical Requirements:
- Potential physical ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand or sit for a few hours at a time.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Prior experience working inside manufacturing execution and quality systems.
- Prior experience or familiarity with non-conforming materials and non-conforming processes and procedures.
- Soft GD&T skills
- Experience inspecting through a micro-scope.
- Ability to help problem solve.
- Contribute to process improvements.
