The Role:
We are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Dallas, TX (Braniff Centre - Love Fld).
The person will be responsible for the processing of complex offers of Sorting Systems, in the field of Airports. In particular, the main responsibilities are:
- Contribute to the definition of the strategy for the formulation of the offer.
- Contribute to risk analys.
- Direct the guidelines for the elaboration of the conceptual design and application engineering studies necessary for the formulation of the offer;
- Analysis of tender requirements and definition of the best technical-commercial offer.
- Preparation of the request for quotation (RfQ) for mechanical equipment/systems
- Analysis of suppliers' offers.
- Attend technical meetings with the Customer and Suppliers.
- Design review with the customer
- Preparation of the technical documentation.
Technical Requirements:
- Ability to draw up bids up to the submission of the same and the subsequent handover to the engineering phase.
- Analysis of technical requirements and definition of technical solutions to be proposed to the Customer.
- Identification of critical technical issues, applicable standards and regulations.
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Degree in Engineering (specialization in Automation, Robotics, Logistics, Production).
- Senior: 5-10 years of previous experience in the industrial field on installation in Baggage Handling Systems for Airports or equivalent conveyor-based industries (i.e. manufacturing, automotive, …).
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in team.
- Adaptability to evolving technologies and industry standards.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and timelines.
Language skills:
- Italian language skills are a plus.
Other:
- Driver’s license
- Availability for occasional medium to long-term travel.
- Must be able to work in U.S.
