• Manage tactical pricing activities, including campaigns and pricing tests.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and Sales teams to develop and implement optimal price structures.
• Create and execute pricing strategies for ancillary products and services to enhance revenue and profitability.
• Represent the Pricing department in various meetings and forums, providing insights and recommendations.
• Lead or participate in pricing-related projects and initiatives across SAS and with relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct follow-up analysis of commercial activities and identify areas for pricing improvements.
• Collaborate with alliance team to align pricing strategies with partner agreements.
• Take ownership of price structures and development for assigned price concepts.
Qualifications and Experience:
• University degree at the bachelor's or master's level in a relevant field (preferably technical, economical, or mathematical majors).
• Proven experience in pricing management, revenue management, or a related field, ideally within the aviation or travel industry.
• Strong track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that have positively impacted revenue and profitability.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights.
• Familiarity with revenue management systems and pricing software is advantageous.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve pricing objectives and business goals.
• Previous exposure to ancillary pricing and development of ancillary revenue streams is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to lead pricing projects, conduct market analyses, and make data-driven pricing recommendations.
• Experience in monitoring and evaluating pricing performance, conducting pricing tests, and making adjustments based on performance metrics.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and industry trends influencing pricing decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex pricing concepts and strategies to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
